| Welcome to the Shamika Server Racing League
The administrators and officials of SSRL would like to welcome you to our site. If you haven?t raced with us in the past, we would like to give you a little background about us. The SSRL admins and officials have over 10 years and 10 full seasons of hosting online league racing under their belts. Our seasoned staff is looking forward to providing another season of the best online racing experience available. If you are a racer looking for a clean, online racing experience we have what you are looking for. Feel free to browse our site, check out our league rules, forums and by all means take a look at some of our league highlight movies in our files section. Oh and don?t forget to sign up for the League. We are looking forward to serving you with Cla[SS].

| Weekly League Practice
The SSRL will sanction a weekly practice for the upcoming weekend's race. These practice sessions will take place on the SSRL League Server with a password enabled. While not mandatory, it is highly recommended that drivers make every attempt to participate. It is a great way to find out how you stack up against other drivers in race conditions. The weekly practice will be held Wednesday at 5:30 pm Central. The format of the practice is as follows:
? 1 1/2 hours of practice to begin at 5:30 pm Central
? Qualifying starts 7:00 pm SHARP Central
? 5 minutes of Happy Hour
? 20% Race
This format should allow all drivers the opportunity to practice in a controlled environment. The server will be shut down approximately 1 hour before practice starts to allow re-configuration. After the league practice is complete, the server will be re-set to the normal open race format.

SSRL Opens 2008 CTS Series Registration

SSRL CTS Series Registration is now open for the upcoming season of online racing. The field is currently wide open and the server is ready to host up to 35+ drivers. If you are looking for a clean, hard racing online experience look no further. Our League schedule has been posted and we will kick off the 08 CTS Season February 10 with a Sunday Night Shootout at Daytona International Speedway. The official scoring season starts the following Sunday evening February 17. The SSRL season will run 12 races with the final points calculated with each drivers best 11 finishes of the 12 races.
We look forward to our eleventh season of SSRL NASCAR racing. So clear that schedule, tell your friends, bolt up that wheel and lets go racing!!!

FATRAT Racing Makes Surprise Announcement

The Rumor mill has been working over time the past couple of weeks with speculation over FAT RAT Racing.
Disappointed with team performance and their contract with ford pending renewal, speculation had it that FAT RAT Racing would not renew their contract with Ford but sign on with the dominating Chevy crowd.
This morning from their headquarters in Hickory, NC an official announcement was made.
